What a great morning at Brown's Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel yesterday – it was fantastic to meet up with old friends and new at the SITE Great Britain seminar for Inclusively Exclusive. The follow up posts from those who attended have said so much about the ambition you are carrying forward. Thank you all for getting involved. And here’s a letter I've written to Exclusion - enjoy! Hi Exclusion, how are you? I know you’re currently on a road trip. I heard you’re busy looking for new places to buy up and let out to your buddies. I think it’ll be quite a tough marketplace, but I also know how persuasive you can be. I had the most fantastic morning yesterday at the SITE seminar. Consideration, Accessibility and Inclusion came along with me. It was such a positive experience – forward thinking, collaborative, involving… actually all the things you and Isolation would have hated. We were hosted by the wonderful Browns Hotel. I know what you’re thinking – “Access would have found that tricky, I could have come instead”, but remember we had this discussion before; Different Thinking always jumps in at the right time and they chatted with Consideration; then both of them gave Access a bit of a helping hand, so even with the event taking place in the gorgeous Roosevelt Room, up on the first floor, Inclusion burst through the doors looking and feeling great. You see, there are always ways to think around a challenge when you’ve got team members like we have on the journey with us. Now, I need to be clear with you. I’m aware that you feel you have put some strong roots down in the C&IT industry, and I acknowledge the success you’ve had at keeping Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at arm’s length. Yes, the stats are still in your favour, but I think you can sense that change is coming. I agree, there’s lots of work to do and I’m aware that you’re not going to give up your tenancy whilst organisations continue to allow you to round up, separate out and exclude certain individuals. Yes, I’m also aware that some leaders don’t currently fully integrate inclusivity as part of their mission and vision, and as such, you feel able to continue to sit quietly in the corner and get on with what you’re doing. I know you take your role very seriously. But here’s the deal. I’ll be working with all the team here – Access, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging and we’ll all be continuing to educate and collaborate with C&IT associations and businesses. No, I’m afraid there’s not room for you too, so please do continue on your road trip. Take a look at this link, anywhere here might be good for you. https://lnkd.in/eumHdrJp. That was an excellent opportunity to learn about the art of giving questions raised by an excellent speaker,Lisa Elder. Her charisma and strong character are the keys to her successful and impactful presentation. I would love for every student from my college #Georgian@ILAC to listen to the excellent question-building strategy: 1. Don’t assume. Just ask. 2. Suspend Judgement. 3. Don’t ask “Why” to find out “Why”. System 1 and System 2. 4. Go 4 deep! They are simple but powerful steps to ask GOOD questions and receive GOOD answers; amazing! Mandy Farmer has a strong personality and is a family-like organization entrepreneur leader. She delivered insights on how she started a restaurant during the pandemic and how she and her team organized the human resource system where every employer is in his/her “right place,” in “your bus,” as Mandy mentioned! Her HAPPINESS HACKS ARE: • Start at the Top, • Defining and Living Values, • Purpose as your North Star, • Next Level Recruiting, • Accountability, • Storytelling. Mandy got a lot of prizes on the national and global scale, and she feels rewarded as well as her team. She shared the website where you can learn more about her family culture organization: https://joinourfamjam.com/ I am happy to share this information with my LinkedIn followers and passersby; it will be helpful to you! #WITH #Thankyoutosponsors #thankyoutoco-founders #WITHsummit #TourismandHospitality #lovethecultureoftourismandhospitality

Exciting Times Ahead As we start to prepare for the vibrant season of spring and summer, I couldn't be more thrilled about the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead for us at McKays Hotel. With the warmer weather on the horizon. Here are a few key steps we use to ensure we make every season the most remarkable one yet: 1. Embrace the Spirit of Hospitality: Let's remember that hospitality is not just a service, but a feeling we create. Every smile, every gesture, and every interaction should radiate warmth and genuine care. 2. Attention to Detail: It's the little things that make a big difference. From ensuring our rooms are immaculately clean to adding special touches that surprise and delight our guests. 3. Training and Development: Investing in ourselves and our team. Continuous learning and development are key to staying ahead in our industry. Whether it's refining our skills in customer service, enhancing our knowledge of local attractions, or mastering new technologies. 4. Community Engagement: Actively engage with your local community and foster strong relationships with neighbouring businesses and organisations. Collaborations and partnerships can open doors to new opportunities and enrich the experiences you offer to your guests. 5. Innovation and Adaptability: The hospitality landscape is ever-evolving, and it's essential that we stay agile and innovative. Embrace new ideas, technologies, and trends to stay ahead of the curve and continuously elevate the experience. 6. Celebrating Successes: As we work tirelessly to deliver exceptional service, let's not forget to celebrate our victories, big and small. Whether it's a glowing guest review, a successful event, or a commendation from our peers, let's take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our team. Here's to an extraordinary season.

!Exciting News! Join us for the kick-off of our Summer Breakfast Series – First Stop: Palm Beach! 🥐🍳🌴 We're thrilled to celebrate our *Florida Expansion* with a series of waterfront events that will surely make your summer mornings a little bit brighter. Let's come together, enjoy delicious breakfast delights, and bask in the beauty of Palm Beach. We truly believe, networking doesn’t have to be hard. In fact, we think it works best with a sip of fresh juice. Through the power of connecting, we're breaking down barriers and bridging gaps between different fields, opening doors to unexpected inspiration.💡 But, it's not just about work. We value the the genuine bonds that enrich our lives and remind us of our shared humanity. At our events, authenticity is the name of the game, and both introverts and extroverts are more than welcome. I’ve learned in life, that listening to stories and connecting with interesting people in the community is a huge source of inspiration for me. Because when we uplift each other, our impact ripples out, and positive energy can be so recharging. There are so many things in the universe we can’t control – but we *can* choose to get together with other good people! And, together, we can make a little brightness. So, if you're ready to be part of a community where brilliance is multiplied by unity, let’s have breakfast and get to know eachother! #SummerBreakfastSeries #PalmBeachOpening #PowerOfConnection #westpalmbeach
