I've been thinking about how my work on the Conspirituality Podcast evolves, and based on a few lectures and presentations I've given this year, I'm excited to expand on the media and science literacy aspects of my work.
This is my 30th year in journalism(!) and watching how media has shifted and evolved has been a primary aspect of my career. Putting these many pieces together into more comprehensive facilitation and training efforts is the next logical step.

The decision between topic-based planning and non-topic-based planning in education depends on various factors, including educational goals, teaching philosophies, and the needs of the students.
Topic-Based Planning:
Structured Curriculum: Specific themes or subjects for each period. This can provide a clear framework for both teachers and students.
Depth of Learning: It allows for a deep dive into a particular topic, enabling students to explore it thoroughly and gain in-depth knowledge.
Integration: Topics can be chosen to integrate multiple subjects, promoting cross-disciplinary learning.
Engagement: Focusing on interesting or relevant topics can enhance student engagement and motivation.
Non-Topic-Based Planning:
Flexibility: Provides more flexibility for teachers to adapt to students' needs and interests. It allows for spontaneous exploration of subjects.
Holistic Learning: It can support holistic learning by addressing individual learning styles and preferences.
Responsive Teaching: Teachers can respond to current events, student questions, or emerging interests in real-time.
Diversity: It allows for a diverse range of learning experiences and may prevent overemphasis on specific topics.
