The newest book on the Civin Media Relations shelf is long-awaited...Kayla and Kristine Biagiotti-Bridges, BCPA were the first mother-pushing daughter team to complete the Boston Marathon in 2013. They were deemed the next-to-last finishers as the infamous bomb exploded just as they were crossing the finish line. "When we got to the top of the street, my brother-in-law and my fiancé (Brian Bridges) jumped in. Brian was going to walk with me through the finish area," Kristine said. "I'm so glad he did - though he was hit with shrapnel, he was standing where he prevented Kayla from being hit," explained Kristine Biagiotti-Bridges. But their story is so much more than a story about the infamous event but is one of acceptance, inclusion, and equity.
