According to Nationwide, house prices saw a slight increase of 0.2% in June, bringing the annual growth to 1.5%. The northern areas, known for being more affordable, experienced stronger performance, with the North West seeing the highest annual value growth at 4.1% and Yorkshire and Humberside at 3.7%. On the other hand, the south of the country, which is more expensive, showed weaker performance with declines in the East of England (-1.8%) and the South East (-1.1%).
