Fast, affordable, and still #1 🍟 Ever wondered how McDonald's secures the top spot year on year? In a fast-paced and costly world, the appeal of a quick, convenient, and budget-friendly choice is irresistible. As such, quick-service restaurants, including classics like KFC UK & Ireland, BURGER KING UK and Domino’s Pizza UK & Ireland Ltd have all retained their Top 20 positions. But is there more to their success than speed alone? Discover in our latest article below. 🍔 #BrandLove #QuickService #FastFood #MRX #SavantaUK #BrandVue

I watched an interesting video the other day that got me thinking, and I wanted to share it. This video argues that McDonald's is more of a real estate company than a restaurant due to their profits from each segment of the company as a whole. With the rise of CosMc's as an attempt to capture a segment of the fast beverage market I think this video makes a compelling case for why McDonald's could be considered quite the real estate company. What are your thoughts? In retail, what can we learn from these types of things to move forward? #ICG #CosMcs #McDonalds #retail #realestate #fastfood https://lnkd.in/g7fjMwhW

Taking lessons from fast-food 👇 Over the past year, QSR & Fast-Casual chains have outperformed Full-Service restaurants, with positive visit growth nearly every month since March 2023. 4 key factors driving this success include: 1. Continued investment in fast service and the streamlining of drive-thru and mobile order pick-up are driving visits to QSRs, as demonstrated by the increase in short-visits at Taco Bell, Chick-Fil-A, and Wendy’s. 2. Full-Service Restaurant chains like Applebee’s are driving lunch-rush visits by embracing quick-service formats. 3. Chicken chains as a whole are gaining visit share in the Fast-Casual & QSR spaces, and high visitation rates at the restaurant level – including at Raising Cane’s and Chick-Fil-A – are another indication of the segment’s triumph. 4. Holiday promotions – both in the form of limited-time menu items like at Arby’s and experiential events like at White Castle – continue to be a recipe for success in the QSR space. I observe a lot of new F&B products and dishes showcased on social media 📱 and in attractions industry news. 📰 ➡ We could conclude that creating new F&B products is more accessible to big theme parks and attractions. I disagree with that. By discussing with food suppliers and manufacturers, I noticed that the process of introducing new F&B products within big parks can be very long. ⏳ On the other hand, I noticed that smaller parks such as FECs 🎳 stand out for their agility in adjusting their F&B offerings to meet changing demands. 💡 This insight reaffirms my belief: F&B innovation isn't exclusive to big parks! ✔ And this is where a Food Buyer can help. Curious to know more about my services? Have a look at my other resources on my profile or let's have a chat! 🎢🍽 #foodinnovation #themepark #familyentertainmentcenter #purchasing

As the population of the Sun Belt climbs, restaurant chains such as McDonald’s and Portillo’s are looking to those states for future sales growth. Customers have moved from the Midwest and Northeast to states such as Texas, Florida and North Carolina. Due to that shift in population, restaurants are now looking to the region to drive sales. Smaller chains are expanding into the Sun Belt earlier, rather than the Midwest or Northeast. For more mature companies such as McDonald’s, it means accelerating new restaurant growth in areas where it’s now underrepresented.
McDonald’s and other restaurant chains look to the Sun Belt for growth as population soars
