Pride Live  – a leading social advocacy and community engagement organization for the LGBTQIA+ community – today announced a multi-year partnership with Comcast NBCUniversal in support of the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center (SNMVC), the first LGBTQIA+ visitor center within the National Park Service that opens on June 28.  "Preserving history's pivotal moments requires collaboration with skilled storytellers. NBCUniversal’s second annual Creative Impact Lab Workshop was held on June 11th, bringing together 48 individuals from our partner nonprofit organizations and NBCUniversal employee volunteers. “You cannot underestimate the value of in-person connections and stepping away from your day job to hear outside perspectives. The NBCUniversal Creative Impact Lab, the company’s signature and award-winning initiative of its corporate social impact brand, NBCUnites, partnered with the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) and nonprofit agency Venice Arts to create an inspiring :30 PSA featuring Team USA Athlete and Paralympic hopeful Derek Loccident. "The Creative Impact Lab is empowering the next generation of creators from diverse backgrounds while shining a light on the positive impact of nonprofits... The Challenged Athletes Foundation is a leader in supporting athletes with physical disabilities, and we were thrilled to work with Venice Arts to create a powerful PSA that will hopefully inspire others like Derek to pursue their dreams.
