Native Forward Scholars Fund has been at the forefront of providing financial support to Native students for over five decades. Despite our efforts and success, we currently face a significant gap in funding, with only 18% of applicants receiving scholarships. This leaves 82% of our deserving students without the financial support they need to pursue higher education. Our mission is to address this unmet need and ensure that every Native student has the opportunity to achieve their educational goals. The scholarships we provide are not just financial aid; they are lifelines that empower students to break cycles of oppression, achieve career goals, and contribute back to their Tribal communities. The impact of our work is evident in the successes of our scholars, who have gone on to become leaders and change-makers in their fields.
