🌍 Every year on May 10th, the nationwide Stroke Action Day takes place. We, too, want to utilize this day to raise awareness about this life-threatening condition. A stroke occurs when blood supply to the brain is interrupted, either due to a blood clot blocking a blood vessel in the brain or due to the bursting of a blood vessel in the brain. Both scenarios lead to a lack of oxygen and nutrients, which can result in the death of brain cells. How can we prevent strokes, and how can they be diagnosed and treated early? 🔍 The team ELPIS Simulation GmbH is dedicated to developing solutions for early stroke diagnosis and treatment. In our exclusive interview, they share insights into their mission, vision, and cutting-edge technology.🔬 Special thanks to Dr. Artjom Avakian for taking the time to answer our questions. #StrokeAwareness #StrokePrevention #BrainHealth #HealthcareTech #Innovation #StroQ #PersonalizedMedicine #DigitalTwin PD Dr. Ilko Maier, Dr. Aria Alimi, Sasan Kheirandish

It's not just one of our core values - it's the language we speak at VisionFirst. So many of our patients come to us after countless dead ends with other medical professionals. They know the language. They've tried lots of things. And they're sick of suffering with hidden or misdiagnosed vision problems. Whether it's concussion patients who've been on an endless road to recovery or parents of children who are struggling with developmental or behavioral issues due to their vision - we help our patients who are in the right place develop HOPE for the future that they deserve. Vision Therapy is no easy ride. It's a workout for your eyes and your brain and it's impossible to put in the necessary hard work if you can't see the future you're looking to create. That's why it's so important for us to not only deeply understand a patients background and what they've been through, but the future reality they want to overcome and create. And we are in it with them. Every step of the way. It's for this exact reason that we created a community for our Concussion & TBI survivors so that they don't have to walk this road alone. We wanted a place where they could share their stories, their highs and lows, and a place where they could go to feel heard, and hopeful on the darker days. If this sounds like you, come join us at https://lnkd.in/gN4WngU6. We'd love to have you join our community. In the meantime, let's spread a little hope for others. What progress have you made lately in your journey to vision recovery? I'll drop some of my favorite wins in the comments!
