National Interagency Fire Center’s Post

On this #NationalWildlandFirefighterDay we express our deepest gratitude to the brave men and women who answer the call to fight wildfires and the dedicated support personnel that make it all possible. This date is especially meaningful as it falls in the #WeekOfRemembrance, where we renew our commitment to wildland firefighter safety as we remember those who have fallen in the line of duty. This year we hosted the first ever #Fireline5K in support of our wildland firefighters. We thank each and every one of you who came out to support from wherever you may be. #ItTakesAllOfUs #ThankAFirefighter #NWFFD 📷 Video compilation by Sheri Ascherfeld, BLM Fire
