The nuMoM2b Study has followed more than 10,000 first-time moms throughout pregnancy and just found that protein analyses taken from blood samples during early pregnancy did not significantly improve predictions that physicians use to identify people with increased risks for developing conditions related to having high blood pressure during pregnancy.
