As we head toward year-end, here’s a look one of our most impactful deals of 2023. VP of Sales Jim Pietrarosso successfully navigated multiple challenges to secure the perfect (75, 072-SF) space for Masterpiece International, an international freight forwarding and logistics company looking to consolidate three locations into one in the O’Hare submarket. The biggest challenge? Finding the right space -- at 2601 Lively Blvd., Elk Grove Village, IL -- for a corporate consolidation in a highly competitive submarket. Jim's secret to success? Always focusing on the clients’ needs. Arrow acquires two logistics warehouses in Melbourne for $23 million Arrow Capital Partners has acquired two logistics warehouses in Knoxfield, Victoria for $22,925M as part of its Australian strategic industrial real estate (SIRE) joint venture with Cerberus. Take a 👀 at the recent video production. **For those that are curious, leasing demand remains active in this submarket with 1.1 million SF of new transactions happening in Q3 '23. Vacancy did however tick up at the end of Q3 due to 1.8 million SF of new deliveries, which included Portside. Per Port Houston stats, total container volumes were down by just 4% through September, currently totaling 2,835,750 TEUs. Port Houston handled 124,739 loaded export TEUs this month, representing a 21% increase compared to September 2022. The trend of increasing export volumes is expected to continue as the demand for resins remains high. Two buildings totaling 1MM SF near Port Houston ready for immediate occupancy!
