My first book, "The Year of 500 Fish", is now available in digital form on Amazon! This book is a collection of short stories that took place right here in Wisconsin during a season that reignited my passion for fishing. These stories will be enjoyed by new and experienced anglers alike. And don't worry, paperback and audiobook versions are in the works. This year's historic cicada hatch has these bugs all over the news. But how this event is being talked about is disappointing on multiple fronts. The intentions behind much of the coverage seem suspect at best. If you live in Wisconsin, I assure you there is nothing to worry about. Here's why: https://lnkd.in/gt4BMwq5

The approachability of bird feeders makes them one of the most common ways the average person gets to engage with nature. And that's a beautiful thing. But is it actually ethical to feed wild birds? Let's talk about it: https://lnkd.in/gArTnD_G

I just wanted to pop-in to say thank you. Last week marked three years since I launched Nathan Woelfel Outdoors. All I've ever asked for is the opportunity to share the beauty of our state's natural resources with anyone who is curious about it. That wouldn't be possible without all of you. A lot of projects like mine don't make it three years. But this one is still here and I'm very proud of that. I don't need to be an influencer or for this to be my full-time job. I just want the ability to continue to share and educate. Thank you for getting me this far. I'm excited for what the future holds.

I've been hunting for over two decades now. In that time, I've learned a thing or two. I put together a podcast to share some of the truths I've come to know through my experiences. My heart goes into every piece of outdoors content I create, but this one felt particularly personal. Even if you've never hunted, but you're curious about the mindset of someone who does, I think this episode is worth your while: https://lnkd.in/gc7RXfzS #hunting #conservation

My wife and I recently volunteered the annual fundraiser for our local Ducks Unlimited chapter. I can't remember how many years we've been doing this, but it's been a while now. DU does a lot of impactful work in Wisconsin. Last year alone, DU conserved 3,640 acres of wetlands here in the Badger State and invested over $3.8 million across its 49 conservation projects. #conservation #DucksUnlimited
