🎧 Another brilliant podcast from Jonathan Smart on key lessons learned from an Agile Transformation experience. Having supported a few of these myself, I can perfectly relate to the takeaways from this journey. Here are some key points that stood out: 1️⃣ Have a clear vision (the Why) and create the need to change. 2️⃣ Think big, start small, and don't high-five too fast (celebrate, don’t declare victory yet…). 3️⃣ Change the system of incentives and start at the top (senior leaders' support is key). 4️⃣ Focus on your WOW - ways of working - transforming the “how” (not only the “what”). 5️⃣ Acknowledge the skills and capabilities you have and need. And learn from anyone. 6️⃣ Minimize the time to learn through experimenting, coaching, and fast feedback loops. 7️⃣ Define clear outcomes vs. “just talking agile”. 8️⃣ Metrics and data matter. Prioritize measures on how you generate value These are the great reminders.
