Hey LinkedIn!
A lot of exciting things have been happening lately, and I wanted to catch up with all of you (more like trying to win back the Linkedin algorithm) 😉
What have I been up to?
- I always say that I have a foot in climate tech but never enter the door. So, at the beginning of the year, I decided to take action and joined the Climate Drift Accelerator. Now that I have completed it, I can say that I not only gained incredible insights into the climate tech landscape but also acquired a whole framework on how I should approach it. My main focus has been on circular economy, sustainability and system change.
I even wrote an article on greenwashing. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/ewFVkeaW
- I've been attending some amazing events, like ClimateHack Amsterdam, which was a great source of inspiration and knowledge. Thanks to the great presentations by BeZero Carbon, SeaO2, and Skytree, I was able to elevate my understanding of carbon capture to a different level. If you want to know more, make sure to follow them.
- As part of my continuous efforts to explore the sustainability industry and critically examine the evolution of it and the implications with the Global South, I attended the "Should I Stay or Should I Go" workshop from POSSIBLE FUTURES Decolonial Collective. What a breath of fresh air it was!
The workshop's structure allowed me to absorb the information before sharing it with others. The prompts showed me different perspectives without forcing me to pick a side. It was inclusive for all the participants. It showed me a new way of approach these topics and be true to me and the planet.
Stay tuned for my next posts where I'll share what I am currently working on!
Image according to DallE this is the intersection of climate, gender and innovation 😉
