Had fun giving the whole company an exec update today. Our back to school themed quarterly communication call gave me the chance to dust off my old Varisty jacket and relive my old glorious HS days. During these turbulent economic times it’s Important to be transparent with our teams, have open communication, and talk about the challenges and opportunities. Austin, Tx Jewish community thank you for supporting the Kosher Store at HEB off of Mopac. Otherwise it would be a fast day for me today as we search for a new investment opportunities in Austin, Tx. Food was fresh and delicious. What a local gem! David Nagel Joe Coleman Saba Moreh let’s get awarded a deal so we can come back during DD and have another good meal!

I would like to say good-bye to the Decron Family as I transition into retirement. I've been fortunate to work for some great property management companies....but after I first arrived at Decron, I said, I want to retire from this company! This was the company for me...this is where I felt I belonged. Everyone here has been so helpful and respectful and fun....I certainly gained a lot of knowledge and will be forever grateful for Decron to allow me to be a part of their family! a Special shout out to Mr. David Nagel, Daniel, Rula, Taylor, Mike, Terry, Josh, Arnetta, Nadia, Lisa, Kellie, Rosie, Araseli, Rick, Sally, Codrina, John, Jerry, Ara, Maria Elena, Brandon, Saba, and Mrs. Nagel....and everyone else who has been so helpful and empowering to me. I go to ULI 2x per year and I always have good takeaways. You want to be in the room where it happens. #Hamilton #broadwaymusicals (conference was in midtown NYC so walked by all the broadway shows so my fave - Hamilton - is on my mind) And blue flight is where it happens. We had a productive Multifamily Product Council meeting at ULI's Spring conference in New York City. I enjoyed leading a timely session called "Around the Horn" which encouraged open dialogue among Council members. We covered topics such as conviction, risk factors, valuations, and general strategy. Of course, I was glad to have a photo with some of my Council favorites including Peter A. Calatozzo, CEO of Journey Capital, Matthew Gottesdiener, CEO of Northland, Daniel Nagel, CIO/CFO at Decron Properties Corp. (Continental Realty Corporation)

Love new hire orientation days and the opportunity to share company history and values. My late grandfather - Mr Jack Nagel - was my hero and role model. And I love being able to share his story and values with others because he continues to inspire me everyday. Today we did our first virtual new hire orientation - 100% of attendance was from our out of town properties. Shout out to Michelle Sturm for continually improving our presentation!

In line with our values of joy and celebrating life, the Decron Family took a moment to be awe inspired by a rare celestial moment - solar eclipse. I wish we had a deal in Austin, Tx that we were in escrow with so my deal team Saba Moreh @davidnazarian Elad Fedida could have experienced totality…but for another time. Rooftop at 6222 was still a good enough place to experience it. Espcially with colleagues and team members. Thank You Decron Family!

At #Decron, Ara Vartanian recently hosted our Q1, all employee call, in which myself, Joe Coleman and Rula Almquist reported out on separate topics. Although we each covered different areas, there was one central theme – employee appreciation and company culture. Recognizing and appreciating employees isn't just a feel-good gesture; it's the secret sauce to brewing a vibrant culture. When employees are celebrated, it fosters a sense of belonging and loyalty. It's the little moments of recognition that build the foundation for something truly special. So, we should always remember to keep the appreciation train rolling because happy employees are the heartbeat of a successful company culture! And in doing so, the amazing Nancy Dunlap organized a fantastic, fun-filled lunch, in which our CIO/CFO Daniel Nagel unveiled the newest, joyful addition to our company breakroom! #culture #joy

Yes…That is a Pac-Man arcade in the background. (And Jason Rocha, of course) We just announced to our whole company that we’ve added to #Joy to #Decron core values. #Joy has always been here…but it is now expressly here. Proudly displayed on our website and portrayed through the color yellow! To kick it off, we added the classic arcade game Pac-Man to our break room at our corporate office. Thank you Nancy Dunlap !
