It was a phenomenal start to NAIDOC week with Adam Goodes sharing his story and recommendations for supporting reconciliation. I loved his insights into how he built his leadership skills: - observe other leaders, then practice and apply what you see - be clear about your goal, make a plan, and don’t get distracted by the noise - speak up and have a voice, even if it’s repeating someone else’s comment - what you do (actions) matter more than what you say (words). I was lucky enough to see Adam at another event 10 years ago, and I hope I won’t have to wait another 10 years to see him again! #NAIDOC2024 #NAIDOCWeek
