We are excited to share the NACUBO Student Success Hub, a compilation of free toolkits and resources to promote the strategic financing of equitable student outcomes. “In my mind, there is no issue more pressing in higher education than student success, and we at NACUBO are proud to be spearheading efforts to fully integrate student success initiatives with institution-wide finance plans,” said Kara Freeman, CAE, NACUBO president and chief executive officer. The NACUBO Student Success Hub is a result of more than two years of discovery and design work in close partnership with 26 higher education institutions. Welcome to Edumap College! We want to devote our first post to Neville Melville, CEO, teacher, and mentor, who has inspired countless individuals with his dedication, wisdom, and leadership in the field of education and business. We are proud to dedicate all our ongoing work to our former CEO, Neville Melville. Due to health concerns, he has unfortunately had to step down and handover to his trustworthy Edumap team. We thank him for dedicating his life to helping our students over the years. He gave his all—his love, mercy, support, money, time, and most importantly, his care. Without him, Edumap would not be what it is today, nor could we have helped as many students as we have. Neville never gave up on Edumap, no matter how difficult it became, how much of his own funds he invested, or how close to the end it seemed. He persevered, and because of that, we can proudly continue to fulfil his mission. Background: The MINTEK AURORA PROGRAMME (MAP) was started in 1992 by Dr Glyn Moore as a bridging initiative for students from disadvantaged communities. These students had the academic potential to succeed in the field of the Sciences and Commerce, but their Matriculation results were inadequate. This programme operated until 2000. Since then, it has been superseded by the Edumap Education Development Trust and its College, namely, Edumap College, in 2001 under the caring and dedicated guidance of our cherished leader, Neville Melville. We thank him for his many years of dedication and hard work.
