We are proud to support #TheCrownAct legislation that prohibits race-based hair discrimination because of hair texture or protective hairstyles, including braids, locs, twists, or Bantu knots. Join the movement to #PassTheCROWN by signing the petition at Dove.com/CROWN and help us celebrate Black hair independence by sharing your #CROWNLove today. #TheCROWNAct #CROWNCoalition #Dove

Absolutely. My crown is professional. It is combed. It is clean. It is tamed. It is apart of me and not all that I am. My hair gives comfort to those who are not confident yet to be themselves. I am grateful to those who encouraged me. Thank you for supporting us and encouraging us to be ourselves. #thecrownact

GET WITH THE PROGRAM, PEOPLE!!! We need to Celebrate ALL of our Black Brothers' and Sisters' Beauty as well as our own. It's not an "either/or". STOP making comments, and stupid petty rules to put someone down just to make yourself feel good about yourself! Cherish what we DON'T have, Black Americans' God-given BEAUTIFUL Hair!!!

Can it be passed without states and local governments finding loop holes in the law so they can treat Black people the way Texas has treated this young Black man? Let's do better in writing legislation. Maybe the NAACP should take to writing legislation and introducing bills via an elected official the same way these conservative organizations are doing. And do it without apology. We need an organization to write a Biden Project 2025.

I support this movement! The racism and discrimination towards our hair is another unjust attempt to keep us down, and keep us under attack. I believe that we have to fight all injustices directed towards us, no matter how small.

Unilever, the owner of the Dove brand, has a long, grotesque history of antiblack racism. NAACP, you should be more discerning about who you form alliances with! https://www.cbsnews.com/news/dove-ad-isnt-only-racial-problem-for-unilever/

That's nice but watching from Canada I think you guys have much bigger fish to fry like the gerrymandering and the gutting of your Civil Rights Act etc
