This week, we took a look at the innovative concept of medically-supported housing for people experiencing homelessness in Burlington. A pilot project embedded nursing care in shelters where people might not have otherwise gotten the help they needed, because of a range of barriers like mental health struggles, substance use disorders, or stigma.
