What are some recommended actions or Sunnah during Muharram? 👏 1️⃣ Fast: Fast on the day of Ashura it expiates the minor sins of the past year. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, ‘The best fasting after Ramadan is the Sacred Month of Allah (Muharram)…’ 2️⃣ Read the Qur’an: Reading the Qur’an or performing Dhikr can help you feel the blessings of Muharram. 3️⃣ Give regular Sadaqah: Muharram marks the beginning of the Islamic New Year, so it's the perfect time to make resolutions and establish good habits like regular charity giving to gain blessings all year round. 4️⃣ Give Zakat - Although there is no specific recommendation to pay your Zakat in Muharram, during the times of the Prophet (saw), Zakat was collected from the Ummah on the 1st of Muharram.

من دل علی خیر کفاعلہ Asked to write an explanation. This sentence is part of the hadith narrated by Harith al-Ash'ari from the Holy Prophet. Imam Tirmidhi recorded this hadith in his Sunan and called it Hasan Sahih Gharib (good, authentic and rare). The meaning of this phrase is "He who guides to righteousness, will be rewarded by the one who practices it". This means that one who teaches or directs others to do good deeds will receive the same reward as the doer. It is a great inspiration and motivation for Muslims to spread the knowledge and practice of Islam and invite others to the path of Allah. This phrase is also related to the concept of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), a type of charity that continues to benefit the giver even after death. Examples of charity are building a mosque, digging a well, planting a tree or leaving behind some useful knowledge or a virtuous child who prays.

Do whatever you want to do in your life. May Allah (SWT) bless you with huge success and the ability to achieve that goal. Ameen! But don't forget you are not here in this Duniya to achieve this all. Make sure to work on the following aspects also. 1. Building a 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 with Allah (SWT). 2. Praying 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇 and avoiding missing, no matter what happens. 3. Working on 𝗦𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗾𝗮-𝗲-𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, which can be achieved through charity, building a mosque, spreading useful knowledge, guiding people to the right path, and there are many other ways you can search by yourself. I also strive to balance these things with my professional journey and advise them. May Allah accept us for these acts, Ameen! We can't fulfill any of these noble acts without his acceptance, so keep asking him for acceptance. - Umar #realpurpose

This post beautifully encapsulates the essence of practicing goodness and devotion in daily life. The emphasis on consistency in acts of charity, devotion through Tahajjudh and Salah, and surrounding oneself with virtuous company resonates deeply with the teachings of Islam. Indeed, the reminder about the temporary nature of hardships and the subsequent blessings from Allah serves as a beacon of hope and encouragement during challenging times. By focusing on consistent practice of good deeds, we pave the way for Allah's abundant blessings, including peace of mind, happiness, prosperity, wisdom, success, and a positive mindset filled with aafiyah (well-being). It's a timely reminder to cultivate these habits not just for the sake of personal betterment, but also to contribute positively to our communities and society as a whole. May we all strive to increase our good deeds and draw closer to Allah's mercy and grace.

Today’s verse: Explanation: The verse distinguishes between two types of giving: giving in order to receive something in return, and giving for the sake of seeking Allah's pleasure. The first type, giving with the expectation of a better return or increase in wealth, is described as having no increase with Allah. In other words, it does not hold any spiritual value or reward in the sight of Allah. On the other hand, the verse emphasizes the importance of giving charity (Zakat) with the intention of seeking Allah's countenance, or His pleasure. Those who give charity solely for the sake of pleasing Allah will receive manifold increase or reward from Him. The verse highlights the significance of sincerity and intention in acts of giving. It encourages believers to give selflessly, without expecting anything in return, and solely for the purpose of seeking Allah's pleasure. This type of giving is seen as more valuable and will be rewarded abundantly by Allah.

Did you know that leaving feedback could be a form sadaka jariya - continuous charity? . The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Sahih Muslim). By leaving feedback on my book - Islamically Inspired Self Development, you can contribute to a continuing charity that will benefit others attempts to improve their Ibadah and Afiya. In the Quran, Allah (SWT) says, "Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof to his credit, and whoever brings an evil deed shall have only the recompense of the like thereof, and they will not be wronged." (Surah Al-An'am, 6:160). Leaving feedback about a book that promotes Afiya is a good deed that can earn you reward in this life and the hereafter. ---> https://amzn.eu/d/hvn7do7 Additionally, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best deeds are those done regularly, even if they are small." (Sahih Bukhari). Leaving feedback about my book may seem like a small act, but it can have a big impact on the author and future readers. Can you imagine?

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prescribed Zakat al-Fitr as purification for the fasting person from any indecent act or speech, and as provision for the needy. Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is an accepted Zakat, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is considered as a voluntary charity. From this hadith, several key points can be understood: 1. Zakat al-Fitr is obligatory: The hadith highlights that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prescribed Zakat al-Fitr, indicating its obligatory nature for Muslims who are able to pay it. 2. Purpose of Zakat al-Fitr: Zakat al-Fitr serves multiple purposes. It acts as a purification for the fasting person, cleansing them from any inappropriate behavior or speech during Ramadan. Additionally, it serves as provision for the needy, ensuring that they can also celebrate Eid al-Fitr with dignity and sufficiency. 3. Timing of payment: It is preferable to pay Zakat al-Fitr before the Eid prayer to ensure its acceptance and fulfillment of the obligation. However, if someone pays it after the prayer, it is still considered a charitable act, but not fulfilling the specific obligation of Zakat al-Fitr. 4. Difference between Zakat and Sadaqah: The hadith distinguishes between Zakat (obligatory alms) and Sadaqah (voluntary charity). Paying Zakat al-Fitr before the prayer fulfills the obligation of Zakat, while paying it after the prayer is considered voluntary charity. #Eid_Mubarak #Guidance_From_Sunnah
