It Started With a Lock This May, we’re spotlighting the locks that have become as synonymous with Mulberry as our iconic bags themselves. In a series of stills shot by celebrated photographer Esther Theaker and styled by Isabelle Sayer, three models (Celina Ralph, Guinevere van Seenus, and Ajok Daing) are captured sporting modern classics – including our latest icons the Lana and the Pimlico – and juxtaposed with closely cropped images of each bags’ hardware. These locks act as symbols of Mulberry’s evolution: dynamic and bold, but with a quintessential and inimitable Britishness. Much like Britain, over the years our hardware has evolved – referenced, refreshed, reimagined – but the hallmarks have remained the same: secure, classic, and made to last.
