Central banks around the world will not be blamed as they continue progressive dedollarisation and exiting Euro-denominated assets. The profits from another’s principal belongs firstly to the other. The EU has as much right to the interest or derived profit as it does to the principal. It was a great pleasure to welcome Kirstin Hubrich, Deputy Director General of the Financial Stability Department at the Deutsche Bundesbank, and her team today at the ESM - European Stability Mechanism. We had a great exchange how to assess the impact of economic and financial vulnerabilities and shocks on financial institutions.
