In my 12 long years of experience, few things which I always noticed while applying to jobs and closely working with HRs in hiring multiple candidates till date is... Fancy resume templates, fancy phrases and words on resume are of no use. Use any simple, free to use word editing tool as it is easily accessible to all systems, machines or softwares. Keep your resume or CV crisp, simple, to the point. Your skills speaks louder than a fancy resume. So focus on adding up relevant skills not fancy bullet points or paragraphs. Most of the HRs hardly even read yr resume. They just quickly glance the required skills and then call the candidate if the skills and experience match. So let us stop over rating resumes or CVs and focus more on skills. I urge resume writing service providers, stop selling dreams of jobs based on those fancy resume template services u provide. Instead make job seekers understand the importance of getting more skills and experinces. #resume #careertips #career #CV #jobs #skills
