This award is given to the individual who accepts challenges unwaveringly and does not run from a problem. As told in the parable of the Buffalo. Kevin Kaufman received the Sledgehammer award which is a symbol of being value driven and owning our values like he has driven them into his ground with a sledgehammer. Jamie Stewart received the Axe award for being the most recognized by our team and customers. Much like an axe being violently swung to produce a desired outcome. Susan Metzger received the Hardhat award for always putting in the work and going the extra mile. The individual that always does more than expected to help the business perform. Brady Sass received the Bomb award for being that team member who just gets things done and their work results spill over into everyone else. The individual always willing to do their work and help everyone else do more too. Coincidentally Brady also received the title belt for sales growth over the previous period. Those of you wondering yes, he still wears this belt around his waist daily. What an incredible week!!! This go-round in Chicago was such an amazing experience and our Vistage Worldwide, Inc. workshops/sessions were some of the best I've been part of. I can't thank Jim Mack, David Galowich, and Michael N. Ross enough for their hospitality, engagement, and highly interactive members. We had some pretty "spirited" discussions about the immensely detrimental effects that stress causes and what it does to both leaders and salespeople. We had even more in-depth discussions around the value of hiring the right salespeople using the right assessments, y'all already know which one I like :) Lastly, we had very open and honest conversations about our belief systems and how much of what we've been taught about sales, sales leadership, and driving outcomes is the polar opposite of what works in today's environment.
