Up until 2022, #ESG concerns saw institutional investors stepping back from the #defense sector, despite its profitability. With the onset of the war in Ukraine, we’ve witnessed a pivotal shift to that trend. Public perception has evolved, sparking a significant resurgence of interest among institutional investors – with a notable 6% increase in investments across the 16 major defense companies. As this landscape transforms, the burning question emergers: Can defense companies effectively align with ESG standards to not only attract but retain investment? It is important that these companies proactively embrace a strategy to position themselves over a sustained period within the ESG domain.
