Increasing public awareness about the risks and signs of human trafficking is an important piece of any anti-trafficking strategy. Effective public awareness and outreach efforts can lead to the detection of human trafficking cases, build public support for governments and communities to act, and ultimately help prevent human trafficking. Human trafficking awareness training provides an important foundation for individuals, first responders, law enforcement, service providers, educators, businesses, and others to recognize the indicators of human trafficking and learn how to appropriately respond.

October 15-21 is Safe Schools Week which aims to highlight the importance of school safety. While school safety has advanced, much more can be done. For example, does your school provide law enforcement with access when and where they need it for optimal tactical response? Provide law enforcement access to your school during active shooter incidents with the KnoxEntry System. Customizable features can be applied at a single campus or across an entire school district, with each location collaboratively coordinating with their local first responder agencies.
