A full house of EMS professionals at the #MCSONJ Wednesday night as the JEMSTAR Safety Class was presented to enhance skills and knowledge about air medical operations and services. Flight Paramedic Carlos Jurjo provided an informative lecture and the NJSP/University Hospital EMS flight team from SouthStar landed at the Public Safety Center and presented a great demo. Participants included the MCSO CERT Team, Freehold EMS Youth Squad and local EMS providers. Thanks to East Freehold Fire Department who was on standby to ensure a safe landing and takeoff. #SheriffGolden commends all all for providing this valuable opportunity. Air medical helicopters are our lifesavers in the sky. The speed and versatility of them help bring critical care when time is of the essence and improves outcomes.

Join the many organisations and individuals who have purchased a CellAED®. This game changing AED is designed to be used by non-medical personnel, such as police officers, lifeguards, flight attendants, security officers, teachers, family members of high-risk persons, and bystanders. What makes a CellAED® stand out from the crowd? Well firstly its size, its not much bigger than a smart phone means you can bring a CellAED® with you when you go off site or taking a work trip. It is easy to use with no medical training required and it is priced at €390 per unit, so you could purchase a number of units for different personnel and/or departments. If you would like to learn more about how CellAED® could work for your business, email marketing@hibernianhealth.com or check out our website on www.cellaed.ie. #defibrillation #cellaed#firstaidcpr #cprtraining #heartdisease #cardiacarrest #Hibernian #Lifesaving#CPR #safetyfirst #defibrillator #IrishHeart #firstresponder #hibernian #cardiopulmonaryresuscitation #AED #cpr #portable#aedtraining #cardiovascular

It was great to be able to participate in the training exercise for the NRBCE inter-service manoeuvres event on the 8th April. The team used the Equivital LifeMonitor to see real time data for the teams with post event retrospective data analysis that gave additional insights into the wellbeing of the team members. https://lnkd.in/euTqRTa3 #realtimedata #physiologicalmonitoring #teamsafety #heatstrain

I will beat this drum. If you are performing airway management with the assistance of medications; then paralytics is your friend. This has been proven time and time again yet we see people still try and justify ketamine only intubation. The most telling statistic in this systematic review; Omitting a paralytic increased the likelihood of difficult tracheal intubation (DTI) by 13.3. Good positioning and Paralytics have done more for FPS than video laryngoscopes ever could. #airway #airwaymanagement #rsi #resuscitation #trauma #criticalcare #criticalcaremedicine #ketamine #intubation
