How to produce more water with same water intake and pretreatment? #GradiantSuccessStory can show you a way!
A #GradiantSuccessStory: urgent #desalination in the Middle East. The Challenge: The Middle East is one of the most difficult regions in the world for seawater desalination. SAWACO - Water Desalination, the leading provider of municipal and industrial potable water in Saudi Arabia, was unable to increase existing production capacity due to constraints on seawater intake and brine discharge capacities. They needed additional freshwater production in less than 6 months. The Solution: Gradiant had the technology suited to provide the best solution to SAWACO's urgent water problem, our RO Infinity CFRO process. The Benefits: 🔷 69% overall recovery 🔷 80% more freshwater production 🔷 25% energy consumption vs. conventional technologies 🔷 Major capital cost savings 🔷150,000 mg/L TDS brine concentration 🔷 99.8% system availability in a 3-year demonstration 🔷 Eliminates the need for infrastructure of seawater intakes and discharge outfalls Read the full success story: https://lnkd.in/eXiZADws

Our cherished kingdom is dedicated to converting oil and heavy liquids into valuable chemicals as part of Vision 2030. A key priority is achieving high conversion rates while maintaining capital efficiency. Success in this depends on technology development, feedstock quality, and desired product portfolio. We can achieve capital efficiency by selecting the right technology, optimizing the process, and incorporating strategies such as scaling advantages, modular designs, and utilizing existing infrastructure. Despite these hurdles, Saudi Arabia is well-placed to excel in the liquid-to-chemicals sector due to our rich oil reserves, strategic location, and the petrochemical industry's commitment to innovation. I look forward to witnessing the rise of Saudi Arabia's liquid-to-chemicals industry and am certain we'll become a global leader in this arena.

Gradiant success story in the Middle East with SAWACO - Water Desalination. 🔹The Challenge: LIMITED CAPACITY💦 SAWACO, a leading provider of municipal and industrial potable water in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was unable to increase existing production capacity at its Store City Desalination Plant due to constraints on seawater intake and brine discharge capacities. 🔹The Solution: RO INFINITY CFRO 💦 Gradiant's RO Infinity was validated in an extended 3-year demonstration to prove continuous operation at 99.8% system availability, at 50% recovery, while using less energy than competing technologies. The combined brine concentration system and existing conventional SWRO facility will have an overall recovery rate of 69% - doubling current production, without increasing feedwater or pretreatment requirements, and reducing brine concentrate requiring disposal. 🔹The Benefits: 💧69% overall recovery 💧80% more freshwater production 💧25% energy consumption vs. conventional technologies 💧Major capital cost savings 💧150,000 mg/L TDS brine concentration 💧99.8% system availability in a 3-year demonstration 💧Eliminates the need for infrastructure of seawater intakes and discharge outfalls. 🔹The result: Doubling Capacity Without Need for New Intakes or Outfalls. #ElevateWater #Sustainability #Water

The stock price of National Gas Company, an LPG marketing entity in Oman, witnessed a sudden rally in its stock price over the past three days following the recent announcement of regulatory changes by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) concerning the packaging and sale of LPG cylinders in the Sultanate. The new regulations mandate that current users must replace their units with ID-based cylinders made of iron or fiberglass within three years. These comprehensive reforms are likely to benefit Muscat Gas and National Gas, which have been actively collaborating with MOCIIP to implement stringent regulations aimed at curtailing unethical practices by competitors, thereby enhancing industry efficiency
