Today's blog post on the AlmaLinux blog is from Noam Alum. I met Noam at CloudFest this year, and his enthusiasm was palpable. "How can I get involved? I love AlmaLinux and want to do something to support the project." Noam took my answer and has been running ever since. He's helping in chat, answering questions on the forums, and has made it his own goal to translate the entire website into Hebrew (and he's already gotten us nearly 70% translated into Hebrew). Yay for a website that's even more accessible, and for the next generation of open source enthusiasts. #opensource #linux https://lnkd.in/gH4WZcNX

Have you ever had a moment when you wanted to send a message, but the timing wasn't right? Or maybe you planned to send a message at a specific time but ended up forgetting? For this reason, I built software that allows scheduling messages on WhatsApp through WhatsApp Web. The idea originated from a WhatsApp group during my studies, where we had a fixed link for our lessons, and each time someone else had to send the link to the group. One day, someone asked why there wasn't an automatic system for sending the links, and at that moment, I decided to build such a system. After I finished the software I saw potential for something more complex in this code, and when I found myself in a situation where I needed to send a message to a contact, but the hour was late, the idea of creating a system that allows scheduling WhatsApp messages came to me. The process started quickly... I uploaded the software to GitHub, and it is based on JavaScript: https://lnkd.in/dSwC33YE
