Good design or bad design? This menu, for me, is overkill. I don't know where to look, and the saturation of photos makes none of the dishes look the slightest bit appetising to me. This isn't somewhere I'd choose to eat, purely because the menu design stresses me out. What are your thoughts? #design #menudesign #marketing #perception #restaurantmarketing

Applying customer psychology has increased drastic profits for my clients…simple 50cent price increases done in a strategic way can result in thousands of dollars in profit a week! Sutantu Kandadai Prabhleen Dua Ajay Pal Singh are your restaurant customers applying the right strategy to increase profits?
𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞'𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐬! Are you ready to increase your venue's profits? Applying menu psychology could be the game-changer you need! Here are some expert tips to make your next menu a hit: 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲: While too many photos can cheapen the look of your menu, one carefully selected photo per page can increase sales by up to 30%, especially in casual dining settings. High-end restaurants may avoid photos, but showcasing your dishes on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook can still be highly effective. 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐢𝐚 𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬: Menu items that evoke nostalgia or have a personal touch can be especially appealing. Think "Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookie," "Campfire Hot Chocolate," or dishes named after the chef, such as "Chef Mike’s Charbroiled Steak." These elements add a sense of specialness and comfort. 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬: Too many options can overwhelm your guests. Psychologists suggest limiting each category to around seven items. This reduces anxiety and helps diners make decisions more easily. 𝐄𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: A well-designed menu is easy to scan. Avoid clutter and choose a legible font size and style. Clear section headings and prominent dish titles are key. Even for menus longer than one or two pages, maintaining a scannable layout with fewer choices per category makes selection comfortable for guests. 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐞-𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬: Colors like red, yellow, and orange can capture attention and stimulate appetite. Use these vibrant hues to highlight specific menu areas and create a visual hierarchy. Implement these strategies and watch your profits soar! When creating my designs, I allocate plenty of time to research. Doing so lets me get a grasp of your customers, competitors and product 💥 But, it also lets me gain a better understanding of the true meaning behind your brand. Take one of my most recent projects, Malt Teaser, for example. Based on the timelessness of whisky and cocktails, the bar had the potential to be a trendy place for people to head to after work. But, without the right branding, it didn't reach its desired audience. By focusing on the brand's origins and deep interest in the traditional roots of whisky, I was able to create a powerful branding package that spoke to the right customers. Read more about my journey with Malt Teaser by clicking the link in my bio 😉 #businessdesign #menudesign #brandidentitydesign #restaurantdesign #chefsfeed #brandingideas #designrestaurants #restauranteurs #brisbanedesigner

Recently, when one of my colleagues ordered lunch from well-known eatery called Eat Club (formerly BOX8), the black color grabbed my attention and when I had a look at it, I felt like the design is not up to the mark of the brand's reputation and quality of the food they provide. So, I thought of giving it a try and re-design the packaging. And below is the result. Kindly let me know what you think of this re-design! #branding #packagingdesign #graphicdesign

🍵 Mysterious Tea and the Art of Perception! ✨🍃 Recently, I came across a fascinating incident that made me contemplate the power of marketing and the influence of perception on our choices. In a quaint little café, the head barista, let's call him Max, decided to introduce a new type of tea to the patrons. He crafted an unusual story about the origins of this tea, describing how it was grown on distant green fields and meticulously harvested by tea connoisseurs. Furthermore, Max carefully selected exquisite packaging for this tea, with an intricate design and a distinctive logo. He paid special attention to the presentation, serving the tea in stylish cups adorned with fresh flower petals. 🌺🍵 When the first customers tried this tea, they were astonished by its taste. Max never claimed that it was the most expensive tea in the world, but the story and presentation infused the beverage with a special magic. Day by day, more and more people learned about this wondrous tea at the café. It gained popularity, despite costing just slightly more than regular tea. Thus, Max demonstrated that marketing is not only about lowering prices but also about creating stories, perceptions, and emotions around a product. Sometimes, these elements can turn something ordinary into something extraordinary and desirable. This experience reminded me that in the world of marketing, it is crucial to master the art of communicating with the audience, crafting unique identities, and carefully selecting words. Each product possesses its uniqueness and potential, which can be unlocked through thoughtful marketing strategies. 💼📈 #MarketingStories #BusinessStrategies #LinkedinArticle #MarketingTactics #MarketingExperience #Marketing #MagicInMarketing #UniqueProduct #TeaStory #CreativeMarketing
