Did you know 1 in 5 children in Washington experience homelessness at some point in their lives? Wellspring Family Services is a local non-profit dedicated to ending family homelessness for good. Their vital programs provide families with emergency housing, early learning for children experiencing homelessness, mental health support, and resources to achieve stability. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. As board members, Sarah Tharp, I and Ali Shahrazad, we've seen firsthand the difference their programs make in the lives of families. #EndHomelessness #WellspringFamilyServices.
Join me, Mo Malakoutian and Ali Shahrazad in making lasting change for families at risk, or experiencing homelessness in our community with Wellspring Family Services.
It's really crazy to say that number aloud and think about what 1 in 5 really looks like. Thinking of a class of 1st graders, for example, and considering that 5 of those sweet kids could be experiencing homelessness is heartbreaking. Grateful for programs like this one to address this need in our communities.
