Today is #GlobalMNDAwarenessDay, a day to come together and raise awareness of motor neurone disease. • 6 people will be diagnosed today • 6 people will die today • It has NO cure Today, help us ensure that at least one extra person in your network knows about #MND.
Lost dad in 2016 at just 43. I’m making sure his death to MND wasn’t just another number. Me and dad always coped by believing he had to sacrifice and we’d raise money and awareness so others could live on. That’s not for everybody but it’s what I still believe now. We will defeat MND. It will take time, more fundraising, more awareness and more govt funding but it will happen.

Today is also my mums birthday she would have been 81 but MND took her far too early at the age of 46. To everyone impacted by MND my thoughts are with you..keep fighting ❤️ #MND
The more people who become involved and fundraise for more research the sooner we will get to making this frightening disease a livable condition.
Lost my dad at 58 to this horrendous disease. Hoping there is a cure one day.
I lost my beautiful husband Steve Wilton to MND. It is a cruel disease that does not discriminate or offer any hope at this stage. #GlobLMNDAwarenessDay Let’s solve this hideous mystery.

1moAt my children's primary school the children are not allowed to say 'I can't do x'. They say 'I can't do it yet'. I like to think the same thing about an MND cure. There isn't a cure...yet. But we will get there. Keep going with the research so this cruel disease stops wrecking families (including mine). And in the meantime thank you Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association for all the support you give to people affected by it 🧡 💙
