Dear LinkedIn community,
I hope this post finds you in good health. Today, I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request to support an upcoming breast cancer fundraiser. 💕🏩🎗️
This past March at 30 years old, newly married and with a 10 month old son, I received the devastating news that I had breast cancer. Since then I have endured 50+ doctors appointments, several surgeries, second opinions, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, upcoming radiation, and years to come of endocrine therapy. I write this not for sympathy, but to raise awareness to my professional connections and those of you who have become friends over the years. Breast cancer affects millions of individuals and their families worldwide, and it is our collective responsibility to stand together and make a difference.
On October 7th I will be participating in the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation Walk to raise funds for research, awareness, and support programs. Our goal is not only to raise funds but also to spread awareness about early detection, prevention, and the importance of regular screenings.
Here’s how you can help:
1️⃣ How to Donate: LINK BELOW. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will help us in our mission to support breast cancer patients and fund vital research. 100% of the fundraising dollars are donated.
2️⃣ Spread the word: Share this post with your network and encourage your colleagues, friends, and family to join in this important cause.
3️⃣ Attend the event: Register to walk in-person or virtually.
Breast cancer is a disease that knows no boundaries, affecting women of all ages, races, and backgrounds. By supporting this fundraiser, you will contribute to the development of innovative treatments, improved patient care, and ultimately, a world without breast cancer.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. As a reminder, please encourage your friends, wives, sisters, mothers, daughters, etc., to be proactive with their health! Thank you for your support!
