🙏 Caregivers are the true angels in disguise, spreading love and compassion. Whether it's tending to physical needs, providing emotional support, or simply being a comforting presence, caregivers go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those they care for. Their acts of kindness and unwavering dedication are nothing short of extraordinary. 💚 Today, let us acknowledge and express our deepest gratitude to all the caregivers who walk among us, always extending a helping hand and a gentle touch. Your extraordinary work embodies the true meaning of compassion and serves as a guiding light for all of us. 🙏 missourihc.com #Caregivers #AngelsInDisguise #HospiceCare #Compassion #Gratitude #Appreciation #SpreadLove #MakingADifference #KCHospice #MissouriHospice #KCMO #IndependenceMO

Tomorrow is National Caregiver Appreciation Day, and words can hardly express how much I appreciate my amazing team of caregivers - past and present! My caregivers give my life such independence and autonomy, and I couldn't do the work that I do without their support. Thank you, to every caregiver who I have ever worked with. You mean the world to me ❤️ To learn more about the role of caregivers and some personality traits that it takes to be a good caregiver, check out this short video that I created: https://lnkd.in/gDwfDTfk #TashaSchuh #iteachresilience #caregivers #caregiverappreciationday

Being a sandwich generation caregiver is often demanding, but it's also incredibly rewarding. We witness the unfolding of life's chapters, celebrating new beginnings and cherishing the twilight years. We are the keepers of stories, the weavers of traditions, and the architects of family bonds. So, to all the sandwich generation caregivers out there, remember this quote: You are more than just caregivers; you are the bridge builders, the storytellers, and the heartbeats of your families. Hold onto your strength, cherish your connections, and know that your role is invaluable. #caregivers #sandwichgenerationcaregiver #sandwichgenerationlife #caregiversupport #youarenotalone #youcandoit #connectionsoftheheartretreats

They learn to find strength in unexpected places, to prioritize self-care even amidst chaos, and to discover a depth of love they never knew they possessed. This quote is a reminder that despite the challenges, the act of caregiving can be a powerful and transformative experience. I help family caregivers relieve their stress and enjoy life (again) by creating a phenomenal circle of care. | CoFounder, SoaringFamilies & BMG Dynamics Group Inc.
𝘞𝘏𝘌𝘙𝘌 𝘊𝘖𝘜𝘓𝘋 𝘠𝘖𝘜 𝘜𝘚𝘌 𝘛𝘏𝘌 𝘔𝘖𝘚𝘛 𝘏𝘌𝘓𝘗? When it comes to caregiving, this can be tough to answer. There are so many areas where you might need HELP. The mini survey I sent out a few weeks ago, though, highlighted very insightful responses: 1 – Choosing a reliable, sensible, caring person I can trust. 2 – Understanding the big picture and getting prepared. 3 – Someone to talk to 4 – Carving out a long-term plan 5 – An in-person support group 6 – How to deal with conflicts 7 – Managing long distance caregiving 8 – Support to identify the right resources 9 – Having a plan to deal with short-term crises. So much packed into these statements … but I think an underlying theme is RECOGNITION that no one can do this on their own. Nor should they. Caregiving is NOT a solo act, and yet so many families are alone in this journey. I think supporting families with PLANNING is something I’m going to spend more time with. This exercise is critical to ensuring the right outcomes. What do you HEAR when you read these responses? #caregivers #dementia #homehealth #aginginplace

Q: My parents are reluctant to accept home care. Now what? A: The first step to try is choosing the right caregiver. Much like dating, a caregiver is a companion, so chemistry matters. While training and experience are important, they won't matter if your parent can't get past their personality. Focus on finding a caregiver that can connect with your loved one, and you may find that their resistance starts to lower once they are introduced. Have more questions? Check out our FAQs. https://lnkd.in/gRfqijEW #caregivers #independentliving #homecare #inhomecare #dayton
