🎉 CNA Week Celebrations at Mission Point of Madison Heights! 🎉 We had an amazing week celebrating our fantastic CNAs! The festivities kicked off with Twin Day on Monday, followed by a fun Scavenger Hunt on Tuesday with everyone in camouflage attire. Wednesday was all about Juneteenth celebrations. On Thursday, we took a trip back to the 80s and 90s, and today we wrapped it up with a vibrant Luau! Our incredible CNAs enjoyed trivia games with lots of fun prizes while being served by our Administrator and Nursing team. Thank you to everyone who made this week unforgettable! #MissionPointHealthcare #CNAWeek #Celebration #Gratitude #Teamwork

Philámayayapi to ANCC for reaching out to me this week to collaborate together for #npweek2023 ! Only about 0.4% of the nursing workforce identifies as Native American. Those small numbers mean that we are not often given the opportunity to share about ourselves so I really have to give a big shout out to ANCC for not only taking the opportunity to recognize the overlap between Native American Heritage month and NP week, but also the initiative they took to use their reach to do something meaningful like this. These types of actions are that real #diversityandinclusion work. https://lnkd.in/gYg83ezH

“Learning is a constant process of discovery - a process without end” - Albert Einstein. Education and training are career-long pursuits, and as a Network, we’re committed to supporting our nursing staff in continued learning and growth. The Network’s Nursing Unit Manager (NUM) masterclasses play an important part in our professional development program. These sessions not only equip our senior nursing staff with new skills but also create an opportunity for collaboration and connection with other leaders. This year, our NUM Development Pathway Masterclass focused on “learning through change”, facilitating discussions around driving change, navigating resistance and anchoring teams. Attendees embraced the chance to upskill, while also having a safe space to share their thoughts, experiences, and challenges. Together, we grow as leaders. We're committed to fostering a culture of learning and growth across the Network. Education and training opportunities like our NUM masterclasses are central to supporting the ongoing development of our brilliant nursing teams. Celebrating the Virtue of Caring In the midst of life's hustle and bustle, it's imperative to pause and reflect on the profound virtue of caring. Inspired by Jean Watson's Theory of Human Caring, let's explore the essence of compassionate connection and its profound impact on our world. Caring transcends mere gestures; it embodies a way of being—a deep recognition of the interconnectedness of humanity. It entails listening with empathy, speaking with kindness, and acting with unwavering integrity. It's the subtle yet powerful touch of understanding and the steadfast support offered in times of need. Today, let's commit to embodying the virtue of caring in every facet of our lives. Whether it's extending a helping hand to a stranger, providing a compassionate ear to a friend, or expressing gratitude to those who enrich our journey, let's make caring the cornerstone of our existence. Together, let's cultivate a world where compassion reigns supreme, and every interaction is infused with the transformative power of genuine care. For it's in these seemingly ordinary moments of connection and kindness that we leave an indelible mark on the hearts of others. #Caring #Compassion #HumanConnection Jean Watson #WeAreSigmaNurses #Represent #TransformativePowerOfCaring 🌟 #NursesDayCelebration 🎉🎉🎉 ICN-International Council of Nurses Filipino Nursing Diaspora Network -rkgp2024
