Our portfolio of national and regional newspapers plus our celebrity magazines, can provide you with over 300 years of attention-grabbing headlines and articles. These are available to bring any project to life. A newspaper headline is engineered to grab the attention and can shout-out to your audience from the screen or the page and immerse them in the story. For TV and film productions, an original newspaper headline adds a stamp of authenticity. What's more, mirrorpix can work with you to design, create and clear bespoke newspaper headlines from any of our newspaper titles or websites - adding a real-world dynamic to your productions. Check out one of our latest TV uses on the current BBC series 'Dr Who' and Episode 2 - The Devils' Chord. The story involved the Doctor and Ruby Sunday heading back to 1963 to meet The Beatles but discover that the all-powerful Maestro is changing history. London becomes a battleground with the future of humanity at stake. The production team mocked up a special Daily Mirror front page from 1963 which reflected how the Maestro in 1925 had changed future historical events. Your Project. Our Content. As many people will be aware, today June 6th, marks 80 years since the D-Day landings of WWII. The Normandy Landings were part of 'Operation Overlord' and the invasion of this part of northern France with its varied coastline of white-chalk cliffs and beachheads, was conducted in two main phases. The first was an airborne assault involving more than 18,000 paratroopers and 14,000 sorties and followed by almost 7,000 naval vessels and some 132,000 ground troops. This remarkable operation helped lay the foundations for an Allied victory in 1945. Check out our D-Day 80 Gallery: mirrorpix.com/offer/2591 #DDay80 #WWII #DDay #archives #photography
