We are currently seeking Twin Cities employers who are interested in hiring MPS graduating seniors for entry-level full-time and part-time positions across all industry sectors. The day will include one-to-one conversations with interested students and activities hosted by companies to engage students while they wait for their interview slots. Date/Time: Saturday, June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Location: North Career & Technical Education (CTE) Center (1500 Knox Ave. N.). Enter through Door 1 on Knox Ave. Who should participate? Any Twin Cities employer who has an interest in hiring 18-year-old students interested in entering the workforce immediately after high school. How do I register to participate? Fill out the information in this form: https://lnkd.in/gE87e5cu. We will add you to our event distribution list and send participant details. What should we bring to this event? A desire to hire talented, young adults into entry-level positions. Staff who can conduct one-to-one interviews with students. Information about your company. Applications. Giveaways with company logos (no stickers). Displays that represent your industry. Mini-activities that students could engage with while they wait for their opportunity to interview. A special note about our students: MPS students will bring a diverse set of technical and soft skills to your company. Many of the graduating seniors who will attend this event have acquired industry-specific technical skills through our CTE career pathway programs and are highly motivated to enter the workforce.
