Market does whatever the government tells it to do. Currently the government says no. If the government said yes, how many HELE coal fired power stations would be built? But government says no. Remain competitive, with who? The government just wants to proclaim net zero.

The Coalition has now unveiled 7 sites in 5 states where it proposes to build #Nuclear power plants if elected. Energy transition strategies are once again causing conflict. it seems there is an unrealistic demand for a fast path to net zero, with no nuclear and an instant shut down of coal fired power generation, all whilst meeting the energy demands of our Country and causing no impact on our economy. What are your thoughts on Nuclear power?
