A big KISS seems right for Valentines day 💋. One of my fails in the past is not enough KISSing. Dumbing it down and keeping it simple. I once tried to make a complex system simpler by adding complexity to hide the complexity. It was a bigger mess 🤦♂️ Whether its your business structure, processes, marketing or vision. Dumb it down and make it as simple as possible. #eosworldwide

Since it’s the (American) season of gratitude… Make sure to share your appreciation for your product marketers and compete pros. They’re the ones grinding away: - Bringing the voice of the customer into every GTM touchpoint - Keeping tabs on competitor moves so your team doesn’t get blindsided - Helping on sales decks for that critical upcoming call - Building and iterating on your differentiated messaging … plus a million other (overlooked) things. So let them know why you’re thankful for them!

#2023wrapped is the trend and Bluetail is "hopping on board✈️" so to speak! Couple of my take aways from the BlueTail #2023wrapped: 1. One of our top enrolled models is a Gulfstream Aerospace G-IV. It's rare that Gulfstreams leave the internal suite of products/softwares, but operators trust in Bluetail to provide something beyond the "the family's" ability. 2. This is a fun one! I actually GOOGLED on how many staples it would take to fill a G-V. Thankfully, my partner Benjamin Kroll fogured it out so now I don't have to math. With a cabin of about 1700 cubic feet it would take 1100 boxes of standard 1/4 inch Bostitch stapels, which equates to ... 5.5 MILLION STAPLES!!! Moral of the year - why continue using paper and staples, when you can just use Bluetail? Your peers absolutely do! We also need to save the staples 😆😁 #bluetailit #isitbluetailed #savethestaples
We've had an amazing year over here at Bluetail! 🎉 Between our fantastic partners, the best customers, and an incredible team, we've been able to make some HUGE things happen. So, take a look at our year, wrapped.🎁 Thank you to everyone who's been a part of our journey so far — we're forever grateful. And happy holidays from our family to yours! ✈️

Sales and partnerships leader, helping Universities provide their students with more engaging educational experiences.
Uncomfortable is how I would describe myself as it pertains to speaking about myself or my accomplishments. That is why I would like the focus of this post to be about my colleagues and organization as a whole. During my time at Top Hat, I have always felt appreciated and that my contributions to the organization, my colleagues, and our partners have received more than ample recognition. My accomplishments can be attributed just as much to my team, colleagues, and leaderships as they can to me. Last week, I was surprised and humbled to receive the Top Hat Unsung Hero Award for our Customer Success Team. Receiving this award speaks to the amazing culture at Top Hat. To recognize someone as an "unsung hero", who feels that they are thoroughly appreciated is a testament to how much Top Hat cares about its people. Find a company that appreciates its people so much that they recognize someone who already feels highly valued. Find a company where your CEO records the award presentation to send it to you, your VP gets you to climb a fence, and another VP lends you their extra glasses (or other random items you forget). Find somewhere that a friend says such nice things about you that you are embarrassed while your other friends celebrate for you. #TopHatProud

I recently made a mistake when celebrating a great month in our company. We blew away our goal and I wanted to recognize our team. Instead of just congratulating our team for their great accomplishment, I threw in the dreaded "but" at the end of it. "but, next month will most likely be much different." There was no need for me to do this. I intended to shield them from a possible letdown the following month since we always have a strong January. The "but" was not necessary at that time (and probably not at all). Celebrate your wins. Recognize the success of your team - the other stuff can wait. A well-informed team already knows of the challenges that may lie ahead and is prepared to handle them. Let celebrating your wins stand on its own. Do not dilute what your team accomplished. Interestingly, February came and they beat our target for that month as well.....and did it again in March.

Consistently provide value, regardless of the duration of your stay in an organization. The speed at which you accomplish tasks may be forgotten, but the lasting impression will be based on the quality and value you bring to the table. Always strive to enhance the well-being of both individuals and the organizations you engage with by contributing meaningful value. #value #addingvalue

Long Service Award vs High Impact Award. One speaks to tenure, the other to value. One may earn us a certificate or a plaque, the other will give us a place in history. Do not focus on the extended number of years that they will be happy to see you leave. Rather consistently deliver incredible value that they will do everything to TRY and make you stay. Do not spend time counting the years, make the substance in the years count. Value first! Value to self and to the ecosystem. Thank God it’s Monday! Cheers to another ah-mazing week and season’s greetings 🥂

The reward for working for the value is so different from the reward of working for the tenure.

Leader dedicated to cultivating high-performing teams with a strong focus on the development of individuals to drive successful outcomes.
Comment below! 👇 What was one of your biggest achievements in your professional career? I’ll start…… When I first joined Konecranes, my team felt like it was us against the world. I was faced with a few statements that I was determined to prove wrong. 1. "You'll have pretty high turnover with this group; you'll be lucky to last a year as well." 2. "This area never gets over $X amount a year in revenue." 3. "This group never takes part in the annual Christmas dinner. Maybe 2-3 techs will show up, but that's it." After my first 2 years, we only had 1 person leave, and that was because they were moving to another state. In the first 3 years, we increased our revenue by 21-35% and never fell below the initial threshold that we were told we would never exceed. But the greatest accomplishment I believe I achieved was our first Christmas party after my first full year. Every single tech we had and their families showed up to our dinner, Over 25 individuals! Through servant leadership, deliberate actions to take care of my people, sticking my neck out for them when they might not have deserved it, and a strong will to see them succeed, I fostered an environment where they felt cared for and appreciated. To me, that's worth more than revenue. That’s my greatest achievement.
