Will have to check them out as a case study. Taking a course from Harvard on "How to be competitive in the age of AI". It's inspiring to see what some of the leading edge companies are doing.

Adobe's actions are continuously demonstrating that their customers are increasingly becoming their product and that this predatory way to do business at the expense of your own customer's rights is absolutely repulsive. I urge everyone who as the option to change platform to do so and do it sooner rather than later. What Adobe needs is to have proper competition in it's market and some companies are starting gain traction (those who are using DaVinci Resolve are well aware of this). If these companies manage to get put out solid software that covers the majority of the necessities of media creation companies, I believe Adobe will lose customers like never before. There's always a risk that even those companies become as bad as Adobe, but at least there will be alternatives and we'll be able (as customers) to keep them in check. Adobe is a giant and the problem with giants is that they lose the notion of their surroundings and eventually start to destroy everything around them.

What an awesome start to the Adobe Express Enterprise Roundtables last week! We welcomed over 25 creative leaders in Brand, Design & Marketing from companies like Airbnb, NVIDIA, PwC, Amazon and Patagonia to our SF office. I was particularly heart-warmed to invite Cyrus Kowsari, senior producer at ONE. Anyone who knows me personally is aware of my deep connection to martial arts, and ONE Championship, as the largest global sports property in Asia rooted in martial arts values. What sets ONE apart from others like the UFC is its core identity as a digital media company. In fact, in 2021, Nielsen ranked ONE #2 in digital viewership, just behind the NBA, with a staggering 13.8 billion video views across social media 🤯. Simply put, they know how to produce high-quality viral content quickly. It was exciting to introduce content-focused companies like ONE the power, speed & ease of #AdobeExpress. During our discussions, we delved into the significance of on-brand content creation at scale, AI-driven workflows, and collaborative ecosystems that keep creative teams focused. Express brings the best of Adobe in one place. We loved seeing wheels turn as customers watched live demos, explored familiar favorites from Creative Cloud (like Libraries), 👀 sneak peeks of upcoming features, and the future roadmap of Express for enterprise. Next stop: New York and London for the remaining Roundtables! 🗽🇬🇧

Final Day thoughts after Adobe Summit 2024 and wrapping up 🎁 what we learned: 1️⃣ Incorporating generative AI can’t be a solution in search of a problem. Focus on your organization's biggest need and work from there. There are many great tools to meet you at that intersection. Adobe might have something to say! 😉 2️⃣ Connected experiences must be seamless. If they aren’t, don’t count on commerce 💳. 3️⃣ Content supply chain interoperability is critical for future success. While quantity is certainly a benefit, it’s the quality and ability to target the right audience 🔊 that is what makes the difference. https://lnkd.in/gXeQEfma If you're currently a regular Creative Cloud user for video and photo production like I was, it's probably time to cancel your subscription. I'd highly suggest you make the switch to a competitor's platform such as DaVinci Resolve for video work and Capture One for photo work. Both are superior products that actually allow you to own the software you use day in and day out. After dealing with unstable software updates packed with broken features from Adobe for as long as I can remember, this latest move from the company was the last straw for me. As creative professionals, we deserve better than to be gaslit and reduced to training data for lackluster AI products so large corporations can save a few bucks and impress their shareholders in the short term. This doesn't just impact the little guy. It also impacts other large organizations who have spent years cultivating unique brands and campaigns. They're stealing your work and charging you an indefinite monthly fee to do so as well. Although this video is a spicy, it's honest. Fair warning.
