The City of Edmonton envisions a transit service that is accessible to everyone. The Edmonton Transit System (ETS) operates rail, bus and on-demand for a city of around 1 million residents in one of North America's most northern metropolitan areas. Edmonton started operating rail service in 1978 when the city was just around 500,000 in population and now operate three metro lines providing around 19 million rides annually. Edmonton is a good example that mid-sized cities can plan for transit to be an integral part of the growth of the metro. https://lnkd.in/gKQYuzse

Our city is on the move, and these measures are more than just gates; they're gateways to a more sustainable future. Munich, Germany 🇩🇪. Whoa! I never saw a double bus before! 🚍-🚍 Super interesting approach to public transport. Got me thinking, in the peak hours, how many people must be demanding to take the bus, they altered a bus to serve as a trailer. That's pretty cool. Got me also thinking about the turning radius. How do you turn this thing? 😂 That looks like a rigid connection piece! This video was taken on a pretty narrow residential road, but I also saw this bus on Leopoldstraße, a very main road. I think this is a result of very good urban planning, to have this much demand for a bus service. #urbanplanning

In my (biased) opinion, this is the coolest thing going on in Utah. Advanced Air Mobility is going to greatly increase connectivity across the state, reduce carbon emissions, and increase quality of life! I’m so excited to be able to watch this initiative unfold firsthand.
