Beginning at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, and continuing until 6 a.m. Monday, July 8, 105 out of 174 project statewide will have lane restrictions removed. While motorists will see suspended operations in most Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) work zones for the weekend, drivers are advised that equipment and certain traffic configurations may remain in place, like temporary shifts or shoulder closures. Michigan’s seasonally adjusted jobless rate remained at 3.9 percent for the fourth consecutive month during May, according to data released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget. Employment and unemployment in the state both advanced over the month, resulting in a labor force gain of 3,000 since April. “Michigan continued to display a strong labor market during May,” said Wayne Rourke, labor market information director for the Michigan Center for Data and Analytics. “Payroll jobs advanced for the fourth consecutive month.” Read more at https://lnkd.in/gKztxibt.
