🌳❤ When the magic in the mazon begins... #TheAmazonNut The Amazon Nuts is conected to the heart of the rainforest, it contributes to the care and conservation of an entire ecosystem, millions of insects, plants, animals and microorganisms. ✅ When the Amazon Nut or Brazil Nut tree begins to bear its first fruits (between 10 and 15 years old), after the bumblebee pollinates the hard cocoon (flower) of the nut, it takes about 18 months for the magic to begin; after the bumblebee pollinates the hard cocoon (flower) of the nut, it takes approximately 18 months for the magic to begin, the coconuts fall to the ground more than 50 meters high and are the favorite food of the agoutis (añujes), These in their eagerness to hide their food and save reserves break the hard coconut and hide the seeds in the depths of the Amazon forest, some time later they forget the exact place where they hid them, giving rise to the majesty of the forest and generating the reproduction of new trees generating an incredible cycle of life. Nature Reset. Connecting business teams to each other and the natural world. Rediscover your 5 senses in Sussex.
Who needs plants. Really. Who needs them. Knowing what a plant could give us, might make us love them a bit more. Take for instance the English Oak. -It dominates much of our lowland. -Flourishes in Europe from Scandinavia to Spain. -Grows to 30 metres tall. There’s lots of them but, what do they do for us? -That’s what really matters. Isn’t it? -Wood for timber -Habitat for wildlife -A fuel for fires. All pretty obvious. No surprises here. Now dig a little deeper. -Anti inflammatory -Antiseptic -Decongestant -Dysentery treatment Medicinally, I could go on. But it doesn't stop there -Basketry -Dye -Gum -Compost -Ink -Repellant -Tanin Its no longer just an Oak tree. For a full list of other native plants go to the link in the comments section. It’s like the lights got turned on #Plants #24HoursInNature #No4thFloor
