At Cancer Research UK (CRUK), we have come so far over the past 50 years, but we must do more. We are in a golden age of cancer research, but funding is holding us back. Now is the time to do things differently, which is why we launched our #MoreResearchLessCancer campaign earlier this year. Our analysis found there needs to be an increase in cancer research funding of more than £1bn by 2033 in the UK, to keep pace with both inflation and increases in cancer cases, and backing research is one of the five key pledges in our #CancerManifesto for #LongerBetterLives. It was wonderful to join some of our valued supporters and friends at a reception event to share our thanks for their generous support for our More Research, Less Cancer campaign so far - support that will help enable us to make transformative steps forward in how we prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.
Everyone should be careful lifestyle and eating habits that will be less cancer risk for people who put in first place!
