Such a drastic fall seems scary! Is it a rollercoaster or free fall!? We will know soon 😅
But fear not, I am now quite experienced these days!
I am happy with what I see behind that short bar! A whole shift in our direction! We have been brave enough, despite all the good feedback and growth, to open our eyes to the hard truth of zero retention. And I see us being brave enough to take a bold leap to fully redesign what we have been offering; from a nice but incomplete product (a physical product to give a natural taste to water) to an ecosystem of products (a physical product, a program, a webinar, a quiz, and a guide).
I have personally seen how hard and expensive it could be to pivot when you run a business at a later stage. I prefer experiencing a drastic fall when I run a team of 2-3, up to when a crew of 30-40 is onboard. Yes, I have experienced that too.
Last but not least, it seems we have found a channel where we can generate website visits and leads at a possibly reasonable cost! Any lead-to-customer conversion! Let’s discover that in Feb.

I've been feeling a bit nostalgic lately, thinking back to where this incredible journey with The Goodfor Company started. It's hard to believe that just five years ago, I could never have imagined being invited to share my thoughts on podcasts and panels, let alone being considered a thought leader in my space.
The twists and turns of the last year have been something else—so unpredictable, even AI couldn't have seen it coming (now, that's saying something, right?). It's been a time of shedding old beliefs about myself and my business, taking a step back, re-evaluating everything around me. Entrepreneurship, as many of you know, is like chasing a constantly moving target that has a not-so-mild case of ADHD. It's wild, it's challenging, and yet, it's so much fun!
Anyway, last week I had the privilege of speaking at the DTC Yacht Dinner event, marking the first speaking opportunity since this "rebirth" of mine. It was invigorating, to say the least.
The event was small and intimate, but it served as a powerful reminder of what I love most—connecting with incredible humans who openly share the good, the bad, and the ugly. It came at the perfect time, exactly when I needed it most.
If you've read this far, thank you. The entrepreneurial road can get lonely sometimes, but it's these little reminders from the universe that show up when you're paying attention that make it all worthwhile. Grateful for the support and alignment with our mission.
Here's to embracing the journey, learning from every twist, and finding joy in the chase.

😬Tonight in a closed session I'll be sharing the fckup that almost cost me everything with the latest cohort of Startmate Manager fellows.
Committing to a fckup night as a speaker is an odd mix of stoke and dread.
As a founder you are always pitching to customers, investors and new team members.
That responsibility never ends so when someone asks you to speak at an event with smart and passionate leaders and tell them some the biggest mistakes you've ever made the intuitive safest bet is to decline.
But counter-intuitively by accepting and by turning up and sharing these fails you get at least two big wins:
1. You remind yourself that those epic fails are part of how you got to here +
2. You encourage those around you to not fear failure enough to make it the reason you don't do that thing.
I learnt this thanks to some OG mentors back in the early Muru-D and Fishburners days with Mick LiubinskasBen ReidAnnie ParkerAlan JonesMurray Hurps and many more with my first start-up Lime Rocket.
The culture of failing fast and learning faster is one of the most counter intuitive but under valued pieces of kit you can have so any chance to share that spirit with other founders is a good investment.
I can't wait to hear some epic fails too from generous leaders, founders and investors like Isis NairNatalie RobinsonHiam Sakakini 🤜🤛
