Despite the availability of comprehensive texts on trichoscopic features there is a lacuna in the availability of flowcharts to facilitate an accurate diagnosis. In our study we have analysed tricho- scopic features of common disorders of the scalp with alopecia and devised a simplified diagnostic algorithm.
