Say goodbye to the mobile usability report. Let's look at this week's #SEONews 1. Google has published a patent for SGE 2. Google now doesn't allow E-juice products in ads and shopping listings 3. Google Search Organization markup adds name, address, contact information, and other business identifiers 4. Google has announced it now supports new structured data for vacation rentals 5. Google Merchant Center Next rules and supplemental feeds will be coming early next year. 6. Google Groups gets a big visibility boost in Google Search. 7. Google expanded its video guidelines to the video mode interface, where the video needs to be the main content. 8. Google has removed its mobile usability report within Google Search Console and has dropped the mobile-friendly test and API. 9. Bing launched Deep Search, also known as Search Harder, for some users, plus announced a bunch of Copilot features. 10. Google Search Console is dropping the product results search appearance filter from the performance report.  11. Google confirmed a known issue where the site name for internal pages may take a lot longer for Google to show properly than the home page. 12. Google Analytics Universal Analytics is largely an ecosystem that is session based. Meaning that it tracks user activities in a single sitting. This single sitting is defined as the time a user spends sitting on his/her computer and performing activities on your website. This single sitting spans for a time period before the user turns inactive for 30 mins (default setting) or till 23:59:59 within a particular date. GA4 is a user centric ecosystem instead. All user activities are now tracked using events and they are clubbed together for a distinct user. The ecosystem is evolving towards tying user activities across multiple devices like Desktop, Mobile and Tablets.
