I use this post to explain a concept. Companies often look for professionals based on years of experience, so in the common way of thinking, the person with 10 years of #experience is more skilled than the one with only 4 years. This concept is not only wrong but stupid and harmful. The idea that a person acquires competence just because he has been in the market for longer is idiocy, like the image in this post. I agree that the first years are crucial, years 1-3, 4-5 are crucial to learn and see the famous 20% of the causes that generate 80% of the effects but after that, it all depends on how many new projects one takes on. The person who has been doing the same thing for 10 years has not only not improved but has gotten worse because the world around them has evolved. Unlike the person who in 4 or 5 years has been exposed to a fair number of challenges. I use the word "fair number" intentionally. Tackling 1,000 projects superficially is obviously worse than tackling 3 in 5 years where you go downhill, though. Numbers don´t matter, experience in the field matters, and this image is so wrong. Have a good week 🙂 #careerdevelopment #career #careeradvice
I dunno... it's just a thought...

So I finally got some time to read this. A lot of it is common sense if you’re already operating in the lean or agile space. You’re probably already doing it. But even if you are - this book is a powerful reminder of what great can look like. And if you’ve never read about the benefits of lean and agile this is a must read. #agile #lean #improvement #book #learning
Let’s see what this is about then…
