It is note worthy to know that both active and passive fire protection complements each other and should be adequately deployed in providing fire cover for facilities. Education is equally very key, facility managers and other staff needs to be aware of the level of protection in their facilities and be able to provide guidance to users on regular basis.

Active Recovery One of the more important aspects of our programs is teaching first responders how to maximize their recovery and take care of themselves during periods of high mental and physical stress. Educating first responders and giving them the tools to address troublesome areas can have a significant impact. Here, Aurora Fire Rescue Academy 24-01 completes their mid-week active recovery session. Our aim is to improve movement capacity and hit the "reset button" so that we can finish the training week strong. #firstresponders #strengthandconditioning #tacticalstrengthandconditioning

Today, International Firefighters Day is observed globally. It is an occasion to honor fallen firefighters' memory and promote widespread awareness of fire safety practices among all individuals. Let's pledge to dedicate today to educating our family members. Take the time to instruct your loved ones on properly using portable fire extinguishers and fire blankets. Additionally, ensure that your children are informed about the "stop, drop, and roll" technique, empowering them to assist in the event of someone's clothing catching fire. Lastly, familiarize them with emergency contact numbers, equipping them with essential knowledge in times of need. Remember to install a portable fire extinguisher in your home and car, as well as keep a fire blanket accessible near your kitchen area. These proactive measures can significantly enhance your preparedness for potential fire emergencies. #fire #firefighter #firefighting #firesafety #emergencyresponse #firesafetytips #emergencyresponders #4may #fallenfirefighters

This... Thank goodness he made it out alive! Now that we've established that... What should be done before stepping off a ladder onto the roof of a structure? Before stepping off a ladder, parapet wall, or other place of safety onto the roof of a burning building — especially if the roof surface is obscured by smoke or darkness — firefighters should sound the roof (if possible) by striking the roof surface with the blunt end of a pike pole, rubbish hook, or axe. #God #bless you all! and if you want to help with my grandsons situation it would be greatly appreciated.
