Just made the 4th July a mandatory WFH day to allow each of the team to have the time to go and vote. I would encourage others, where able, to do the same. If you want a happy workforce, they need to come to work feeling secure and stable in their own lives. Whilst you can do everything in your power to help this with good salaries, private healthcare etc, ultimately the Government ruling our society will have the biggest impact on this 🌱
eek we are soho house festival all day for our team summer outing so am encouraging they go first to vote before coming over!
An excellent idea, voting is important – particularly with the opportunity this election presents.
Good to hear, Mel. Encouraging colleagues to actively participate in the electoral process (albeit subtly) will help tackle the indifference or apathy some might feel.
This is an incredible initiative and I really hope many other employers follow your lead. What a difference this could make! 👏
This is such a great idea! Thanks for sharing 👏🏻
Super thoughtful Mel. Many should be following this, especially for commuters.
Love this!
Things we love to see! Well done Melanie 👏
Good for you, Mel, this is great!!

1moWait, and excuse the ignorance, but voting days aren't public holidays in the UK? The entire country got the 29th of May off in SA because everyone has the right to vote and shouldn't have to risk being paid just to make a difference in their country.
